QUOTE: “Argue for your limitations and, sure enough, they are yours.” Richard Bach, Illusions.
Hi There! Welcome back!
I've just returned from a fabulous 4 week vacation in England and I am refreshed and ready to get back to work.
How have you been?
Today, I’d like to ask you some questions:
Do you ever talk to yourself? Do you have a voice or two inside your head, at war with each other? Do you ever argue with yourself? Perhaps make a decision then talk yourself right out of it?
What would happen if you refused to listen to that argumentative, limiting voice of “reason”?
What would happen if you decided “I am not going to listen to you.”?
What would happen if you said “I am not going to talk to you any more.”?
Did you ever have a best friend? Someone you could talk to, share anything with, tell your biggest secrets, your greatest dreams and your greatest fears. Someone you trusted so completely you would trust them with your life.
Are you that person?
Are you your own best friend? Do you treat yourself with love and respect? Do you trust yourself to share your greatest dreams, hopes and fears with yourself, knowing they will be safe, treated with the reverence and respect they deserve?
If not, why not?
What would happen if you decided today to treat yourself like your own best friend?
What if the limitations you set yourself are the only things stopping you from achieving the life of your dreams?
What if you are the only person standing in your way?
What if you decided, from this moment on, to treat yourself as your own best friend. The one person in the world you can rely on to love you, protect you, take care of you and look out for you, unconditionally, no matter what.
What if you became your own best friend?
Think about it!
